About Your Ambulance Association

The Killingworth Ambulance Association dates to April 14, 1971 when it was incorporated and …

Board of Directors

The Killingworth Ambulance Association is a member of the Valley Shore Mutual Aid Association and is operated by a dedicated group of community members and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) committed to providing outstanding patient care and community service to Killingworth. Our EMTs are trained to respond rapidly and efficiently to all medical and trauma emergencies.

The KAA works alongside members of the Killingworth Volunteer Fire Company’s Rescue Squad (Rescue 8) at the location of an incident or medical emergency. It also works closely with the Middlesex Hospital Paramedic program, with paramedics responding from the Middletown hospital or the Shoreline Clinic in Westbrook.

In addition, the KAA runs a variety of classes each year, including EMT, EMT re-certification, Stop the Bleed, CPR/AED and basic first aid. If you’re interested in learning what it takes to become an EMT or more about our classes … or if you just want to become a volunteer … please contact us by telephone (860-663-2450) or by email. We are always looking for volunteers to join the KAA family.

The KAA’s board of directors is composed of 11 volunteers who meet the fourth Wednesday of every month at the association’s Route 81 headquarters. The board this year consists of the following persons:
