The Killingworth Ambulance Association will hold two “Stop the Bleed” classes in February at its headquarters at 335 Route 81 — with the first on Tuesday, Feb. 13, and the second on Wednesday, Feb. 21. Both begin at 7 p.m. Classes are free and open to all persons over the age of 12. The “Stop the Bleed” campaign, which was launched in 2015 by the White House and Department of Homeland Security, is designed to equip persons with the training to deal with emergency bleeding situations and the tools to save lives.
